Despite being a Shaggy Dog Story, this movie still has its heartwarming moments.
- The way how Hideo treats Nozomi is somewhat heartwarming, if you overlook the fact that he's a middle-aged man and she's a sex doll.
- Nozomi's way of interacting with the world. Though her way is eccentricand childlike, it's rather adorable.
- When Nozomi's watching boats in the ocean on TV, Junichi asks if she's ever been there. She reponds by saying no. Next scene, we have Junichi taking her there by bus.
